WhyRobbieRocks

“WhyRobbieRocks” is an online avatar community. Our team had been engaged in the development and reconstruction of several application pieces from the scratch, including UI design, redesign of avatars and its’ accessories, addition of several functionalities such as chat, shop, games and other. This platform is based on our custom built Javascript and Flash Communication Framework. TX Systems’ team members had been implementing code modifications, fixing existing system bugs and providing support to Dutch team via email and phone. Project had been divided into several phases, with its own list of deliverables, following by going live and user acceptance. Development, Quality Assurance and Operational Support teams, working very closely together, had been extensively participating in each phase of project starting from the project Initiation, Planning, Execution and Closure.

“WhyRobbieRocks” is the world of virtual avatars, very popular among young people and teenagers in Netherlands. It is one of the rapidly increasing online avatar communities, with the database of newly subscribed users almost all over the world. Users of the system can create your own avatar, dress it up, chat with other avatars, go shopping, create own shop and show favorite items to other friends, vote for avatars and take part in other interesting and entertaining activities.
